"Inter-zone traffic went on without hindrance. Only on 16.4.1962 and 19.4.1962 were there relatively long lines of cars and waiting times of up to two hours at the Dreilinden checkpoint owing respectively to sluggish processing and to heavy Easter traffic," the West Berlin police write in their monthly report about developments on the sector and zone border in April.
